SANFORD.   You'll have an opportunity to meet some of Florida's slimiest and most dangerous residents at this zoo, located in nearby Sanford. Exhibits include such threatened and endangered species as the Florida pine snake, the American alligator and the American crocodile. The park is also home to a cornucopia of animals from around the world, from Indian elephants to the clouded snow leopard (a new addition). The Central Florida Zoological Park offers a fun and educational repertoire of hands-on programs, allowing everyone to get up close and personal with some of their favorite animals.   (© 10Best)
