UNIVERSAL.   Looking for a late scene that is, quite literally, in the middle of it all? Few places hold a candle to this enormous club, whose state-of-the-art sound system fills the night air with dance music from all time periods and genres. And though the club's decor juxtaposes elements of the old and new, make no mistake: At its very core, the groove is as sleek and as sexy as they come in Central Florida. Themed VIP lounges – three of them – deliver a stylish brand of privacy for those patrons who want it (and are willing to foot the bill for it).   (© 10Best)

The groove did not live up to expectations. The Mannequin is still the best and nothing can beat it. DISNEY PleasureIsland I HOPE you RE-OPEN!! The Groove can't hack it. The Dance Floor is smaller, the music is very bad ,the bars don't even have a list for you to choose from. Alls the bartenders say is anything you want we have a full bar. Parking sucks they charge you $3.00 dollars where Pleasure Island parking was free (of course if you did it yourself) valet only cost $6.00 after 5:30pm.Lockers were $2.00 an hour at the groove where Pleasure Islands lockers were $1.00 for a full day.Plus the groove didn't even follow its own theme where Mannequin or any other of Pleasure Islands clubs did follow there themes and even there employees were dressed up for there themes of there clubs. Plus every club had Mascots for there clubs. The groove didn't it just had a big G hanging over the DJ's head and alot of art deco looking like it was hollywood. I am sorry but not one DJ can top Our DJ at the Mannequin club. want pictures and more information contact me at (Graveyard9999@breakthru.com) I will give you a scope on this place and what is so bad at about this place. that i had to write a bad review. One other thing The groove music was terrible. tHEY MIXED 80'S MUSIC,Hiphop, pop, and other older music that really no one listens to now adays. Give me a break at least PleasureIslands separated there music into different Nightclubs. they had there smarts but not to much smarts when they closed a landmark. it will never be the same without Pleasure Island . :'(
