UNIVERSAL.   Renowned chef Emeril works his customary magic at this celebrated restaurant that bears his name. Master of Cajun and Creole cuisine, Emeril takes an innovative approach with traditional ingredients, crafting dishes such as lobster cheesecake and crabmeat strudel. He also presents grilled veal chops, quail stuffed with oyster dressing and a duck extravaganza that boasts foie gras, confit and duck breast. Pizzas and desserts also benefit from his exuberant love of food and good living. A wine cellar of more than 12,000 selections pairs with premium cigars to complete the sensory experience. Jackets are recommended, and reservations well in advance are necessary.   (© 10Best)

disappointment
After having a great meal at Emerils in New Orleans, the meal in Orlando was a big disappointment. Snapper with Adoui and duck both over cooked - service was good dessert gummy creme brulee. Wine over priced.

Great food, disappointing dessert
I started with the Fried Green Tomato appetizer. It was a bit expensive for one slice of tomato, but with a huge pile of crab, was delicious, and worth every penny. The warm bread and corn muffins were good. For my entree, I had the Quail two ways. It was prepared to perfection and did not disappoint. Then came the dessert. I wanted to try the signature Banana Cream Pie, but decided to go with the Bread Pudding instead. I was very disappointed. The gelato was good but the Bread Pudding was not at all moist, and resembled an overcooked shortbread crust. I could barely cut it. All in all, the food, service staff, and atmosphere was outstanding but the dessert was a big disappointment.
