1. Flying Fish Cafe

Truly NOT a seafood restaurant!
You would be hard pressed to call this a restaurant specializing in seafood. With minimal seafood options: shrimp cocktail, house "special" spud wrapped red snapper and the ubiquitous scallop dish & salmon -- I sadly realized there is nothing unique or options that capture the multitude of seafood possibilities being between the ocean/gulf coast! With no salads containing seafood at all, not even a ceviche and the majority of menu items not seafood oriented I would not recommend this place ever. The menu remains ordinary including as most do the items listed above and the chicken and steak as does numerous other restaurant in the US. The everyday quaility of the items shock you when you realize the amount being charged, often double or triple you normally would see. Conversely, Cat Cora's Greek Restaurant next door; albeit, offering a meager slice of what one can find deftly prepared in an actual, quality Greek town rest., she does offer a whole fish entree (not stating which one -- I would cringe as it might be tilapia!). I was truly dismayed by the number of Disney cast members assuring me about this being a seafood restaurant that it is not and also listed online as one of the top ten seafood rest.'s in orlando. UR kidding me! You will not find oysters, clams, lobster, king crab legs or other crabs, no mollusks anywhere & no grilled whole fish like a open fire grilled red snapper! Unless you enjoy being charged exorbitant amounts of money for ordinary fare you can find elsewhere for less, I do not recommend this establishment.

The food at this restaurant is phenomenal, as was the wine list, ambiance and service. For appetizer, try the Tuna Tartare or the Mussels! For dinner, the Red Snapper wrapped in potato is the restaurant staple! The scallops are also amazing! Top it off with a bottle of fine California Chardonay...

The service was great, the food delicious and the location convenient.

This place was great, there was fish flying everywhere. I live in Alaska and I have never seen fish fly like this. The only bad part was when I got hit in the head with a fish, this was something I could have done without. I would recommend this place to anyone unless you are scared of or allergic to fish.
