Being a frequent Disney visitor ( 3x per year) I was extremely disappointed with the Grand Floridian. The linens were tattered; the amenities provided in the Sugarloaf Lodge Concierge were not what were described when making my reservation. When I requested to be down graded to the Polynesian Concierge I was told I didn't pay enough for my room and that I could pay any additional $130.00 per night (on top of the already $315.00) in order to switch. Rooms were available but the staff was not willing to accommodate. Many of the shows were cancelled according to the drop in attendance due to the September 11th tragedy. I was told that many employees were given less hours and by the looks of it park attendance was not down, it was crowded, and the wait time for the attractions and any services was atrocious. They were understaffed both in the hotel and the parks.
