4. Menominee Park and Zoo

We LOVE it!
The zoo is great! Some years (like this one....'09) someone will donate enough to cover admission for the summer so it is free- they do encourage donations on your way out though. The park houses a HUGE wooden castle playground, there is a small beach area, you can watch people boating and fishing.Lots of room to have a picnic and they have a mini-train, water sports (paddle boats, canoes) and a few small rides including a merry-go-round). The animals are leased so each year there may be different exhibits.
