1. Musée canadien de la photographie contemporaine

Opened in 1992, the Musée canadien de la photographie contemporaine now features more than 160,000 spectacular images. It showcases photographs from the early '60s to the present; most of the collection consists of prints, although visitors will also find books, mixed media, video, and more. Representative photographers are solely Canadian, by birthright or residency. Regular exhibitions highlight individual photographers and thematic collections.   (© 10Best)
