Amazing!
When I first arrived at the parking lot I was thinking, "This is it?". When you first enter the crude wood arch you see two monkey cages which make a good impression. The ticket area has a nice gift shop with nifty souvenirs. There is a Childrens' Zoo with zebras, bison, chickens, rabbits and more! I loved the Nature Trail because you are walking and then you come up to Snow Leopard and Siberian Tiger exhibits in the foilage. The white tigers are neat but I only have two complaints: There aren't many paths, if there are, they are well worn out. Come on! At least add a dirt path because when I went it rained recenty and it was kind of muddy! My second complaint is that the animals have next to no enrichment. I was watching the Arctic Wolved pacing back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, and so on. This zoo doesen't try to be a big, world-class zoo but instead trys to be a neat local zoo and it succeds in doing that.
If you're in Ottawa or near Wendevor be sure to try to visit there (especially if you have children)!
