Located upstairs above the Collection, the Mercury Lounge boasts an eclectic, Euro-style atmosphere that includes sleek, velvet furniture, modern artwork and beat-driven international music. Expect to find an interesting hodgepodge of clientele here, from young professionals to trendy students. Worth noting: the Mercury's martini menu tops out at about 20 or so, and rumor has it their bartenders mix what just might be Ottawa's best. Mercury lounge is the best of bohemian meets luxury... Everyone is welcome and the music is mind blowing!!! Definitly worth the climb up those stairs.

I went to university here at one time and am now thirty years of age. I visit approx 3-4/ year, essentially my trip is not complete without attending the Merc lounge. If you like to dance to live percussion and beat driven eclectic/international underground....it’s for you. There is very little attitude, people are generally friendly. Usually a steep cover charge and pricey drinks....but its worth it. Enjoy
