3. Chez Lucien

An extremely popular spot in the ByWard Market, Chez Lucien is a pub with a difference. The atmosphere is fantastically welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the food takes "pub grub" to the next level. The menu is short but sweet and augmented by daily specials; everything is wonderfully fresh and well-prepared. There's a good selection of microbrews and wines, and the jukebox (free!) has probably the most eclectic array of tunes in town. A gem!   (© 10Best)
