5. Irish Village

Irish Village is actually a collection of bars at ByWard Market, each with its own take on the traditional British or Irish pub. The Heart and Crown, Mother McGintey's, the Snug Pub and Roisin Dubh share a kitchen (which turns out reliably good pub grub) and all have street-facing patios, which are packed during warm weather. Live music is scheduled several nights a week at The Heart and Crown and Mother McGintey's.   (© 10Best)
