After cutting his teeth at several of Ottawa's finest restaurants, Benitz opened his own place, to much acclaim. As is the fashion these days, the menu changes frequently to highlight what's freshest in the local markets. Fabulous modern French-Canadian cuisine is the end result: grilled bison frites, heirloom tomato salad, herb-crusted lamb loin with ratatouille, lobster risotto, perfectly steamed PEI mussels with shallots, capers, garlic flower, lemon and crème frâiche.
