5. Owens' Restaurant

We had four adults ordering 4 different entrees- crab cakes, pecan crusted scallops, coconut shrimp and chiopinno. We all LOVED our dishes! The cheese crock was a nice different beginning to our experience and the hush puppies were the best we've ever had! The entrees came with salads that were better than average with excellent dressings. The building was old and quaint. Service was disappointing. Waiter was very nice, but was VERY slow. I ordered remouolade sauce with my crab cakes and they were almost cold by the time I got the sauce. Bread and hush puppies came AFTER our entrees were served. Asked for more hush puppies and never got them. Food was so amazing that we would still definitely return!
