7. Sam & Omie's

Less than average....
We found that there is plenty of parking. The resturant is spacious on the inside and appeared to be clean. The staff was very friendly and seemed eager to serve. The menu is pretty basic and didn't have alot to choose from. With the exception of a few combo choices everything costs extra. If you order an omlet they want to nickel and dime you to death until you build it the way you like (.99 cents to add store bought salsa?). The food was okay at best and seemed to be rushed. If Sam & Omie's is really "The best breakfast in OBX" like the seemingly slanted reviews claim, the bar is set very low. We spent $40.00 to feed three people. This place won't be part of our vacation next year.
