The "Univ" purports to be Oxford's oldest college, having received its first benefaction in 1249. Among the college's most famous pupils are Percy Bysshe Shelley (expelled in 1811) and Bill Clinton. There is a rather striking monument to Shelley inside the college, and the grounds are among the most beautiful and hallowed in Oxford. Although portions of the college's grounds are closed to the general public, it is possible upon occasion to find an obliging host who will be more than happy to walk you around.   (© 10Best)
