3. Punting

A true Oxford experience is taking a punting trip on one of the canals or rivers flowing through Oxford. Especially in the spring and summer, these excursions provide some of the best sightseeing opportunities around. Among the most noteworthy of Oxford's punting companies is the Cherwell Boathouse, which offers customers the chance to travel the River Cherwell in the romantic style of old.
