1. The Bear

Purported to be one of Oxford's oldest pubs, The Bear opened for business in 1214. The pub's proximity to High Street makes it an ideal place to stop in after an afternoon of sightseeing, and its location between Christ Church and Oriel Colleges guarantees that you'll be rubbing elbows with some of Oxford's student population.
