This stylish restaurant, housed in a restored Victorian conservatory and florist's shop, is the perfect place for a classy business meal or special occasion. The Mediterranean cuisine offers seafood, pasta, and steak dishes and is complemented by an excellent wine list and delectable desserts. With various hanging plants and flowers throughout the dining area and fresh-cut flowers at each table, the decor is as relaxingly impressive as meals are excellent. Service aweful, lighting uncomfortable, food substandard for such an expensive menu. We also had to keep our coats on as it was so cold.

Going against friends’ advice I decided to give Gees a try. Terrible is the word I would use, I would not recommend it to anyone and will from now on head my friends advice. The food was not worth the money and the service was dire. Altogether a most unpleasant experience.
