3. The Magic Café

The small but spacious Magic Café is hidden in Oxford's residential eastern fringe and has the feel of a quiet neighborhood secret. The Magic's yellow walls are covered with art, and the regulars are fond of the monthly art exhibits and occasional live music. They serve breakfast until around noon and lunch thereafter. Though the menu is not very big, the delightful lunch specials change daily and they do offer vegetarian options. If you get the chance, try the spinach ricotta quiche and, for dessert, caramel shortcake or date and walnut flapjacks.   (© 10Best)
