My husband and I were very fortunate to locate my father's WWII pilot in 2001, who happens to be a docent at this museum - and we toured the facility in February 2002 with him as our guide. I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed our day-long tour and we plan to bring our entire family back this next season to visit. For anyone with an interest in aviation, war history, or needs to be enlightened on either, this is the place to go!

I visited the Museum Oct 29 2005 "P-47 Day." It was my second visit and I have to say that I like this place. I just wish it were closer to home. The enthusiasm and courtesy of the docents is quite evident. Seeing and photographing these aircraft that are in pristine condition is a joy. To see them fly is a thrill. The gift shop is what I call a gift shop with plenty of items to choose from (and contagious too)!! Thanks for a very pleasant experience!
