The Buzz -- The streets of old town Indio come alive for the only tamale festival held in the Southwest. This food festival celebrates the Christmas season and the tamale as a traditional holiday food. It features continuous live entertainment, over 70 vendors, a parade, a tamale-eating contest, and a 5K/10K run.
