10. The Daily Grill

One of the better choices value wise on El Paseo Drive---A very "San Francisco-ish" spot with it's heavily wooded decor--very comfortable for either cocktails or for dinner---kind of a "comfort" menu with meatloaf, yankee pot roast as well as some eclectic dishes---bar prices are a little high as they've seen fit to do away with the very attractive summer happy hour, thus deleting most of the "local" trade---more room for the tourists I suppose.
