3. Gulf World Marine Park

This Panama City attraction offers great opportunities for learning about the animals. Fun and educational for every member of the family, Gulf World gives dolphins, sea lions, stingrays, reptiles and tropical birds some well-deserved time in the spotlight. In addition, special programs let park visitors "Swim with a Dolphin," become a "Trainer for a Day," enjoy "Dolphin Day Camp" (Reservations required). Visitors get an up-close experience with dolphins and other sea creatures at this expansive 7-acre park. There is an indoor tropical garden; a 2,000-seat dolphin stadium; and exhibits for iguanas, alligators, and otters. A program called Dolphin Encounters enables visitors to swim with dolphins.
