 EDITOR REVIEW: 7ème ARRONDISSEMENT. Proust had his madeleines but Chef Christian Constant has a chalkboard menu full of memories at the Cafe Constant. The casual atmosphere of this dimunitive corner cafe is in direct contrast to the hearty, old fashioned meals made popular in the 70s and include a signature veal "Cordon Bleu" and such tempting treats as profiteroles and creme caramel. Just don't get your heart set on ordering coffee with dessert, the waitstaff aptly advises against it - the coffee gets cold as you enjoy your sweet!
