6. Stella Maris

A wonderful experience
My wife and I had an amazing dinning experience (and I've had many) at Stella Maris in 2001. The food was well crafted, delicious and the service impeccable. They even send us off with little chocolate cake presents gift wrapped in little boxes. The attention to detail was second to none. But it was the food that impressed the most. We went back to Stella Maris in 2006 and again had another fantastic experience. Unfortunately, with the Euro being higher than the Dollar, the bill was much higher with the rate exchange than it had been back in 01 when we paid in Francs. Don't be turned off by the location (Off a little street in the Arc de Triomphe area) the food is amazing.

This was the best dining experience my wife and I had ever had (and we had have quite a few wonderful meals from East to West to the Caribbean). Excellent food, superb service and wonderful, romantic ambiance. We ate here in 2001, and yes it is pricey but it is a dining experience not to be forgotten.

We enjoyed a suburb meal at Stella Maris in September 2000. The restaurant was recommended by the hotel staff at the Napoleon. We will be in Paris again in Sept 2004 and want to dine at Stella Maris again. I was on the web checking to see that they are still in business. I'm thrilled that they are and we will be making a reservation!!
