7ème ARRONDISSEMENT.
No other Parisian restaurant can boast the views that Jules Verne does, especially since it's located 400 feet up in the Eiffel Tower! Chef Alain Ducasse ensures fabulous French fare such as crab in light shrimp sauce and swordfish with potato puree and caviar. The wine list is equally superb, and an English-speaking sommelier is on hand to answer any questions you may have. The decor is techno-like, thanks to a black glossy interior. METRO: Bir-Hakeim

This is the most expensive restaurant I have eaten in in Paris, and categorically not worth it. Snobby Parisian waiters, ludicrously expensive food, they refused to serve me a green salad as "chef does not like to make them", everything came with sauces which were poured on before we had a chance to say if we wanted them. Utterly pointless unless you are by the window. And in any case you are better off paying 12 Euros to go to the top of the tower rather than over 100 Euros a head with no wine, and eating elsewhere.

Knowing the view would be fabulous, knowing that many tourists go there, knowing that we were willing to spend a lot of money for a great experience, we were pleasantly surprised to have not only a fabulous view but an attentive waiter, a fabulous 8 course prix fixe meal for about $100 per person and a fabulous wine list not any more expensive than fine restaurants in Houston. We are going to Paris in a week and are making reservations at Jules Vernes once more!

Great views, Great decor. Very pleasant staff. Expectedly good food, but a bit expensive. The only drawback was a table of rather loud, smoking businessmen conducting a business meetig (with ringing cell phones) at the next table. C'est la vie.
