A renowned master of French cuisine, he tempts diners with lamb in pepper cream sauce and superbly flavored fried duck. Don't forget to order a rich dessert to top off the evening. In addition to these, Lecerf has honed his skills even more and offers his own wonderful creations, including sole with baby squid and artichokes. 16ème ARRONDISSEMENT. This restaurant transports guests back to Shakespearean times, adding stunning decor and beautiful flowers too. Young chef Frederic Anton creates dishes that are a pleasure for both the palate and the soul. Chicken breast in mushroom sage and sautéed baby squid with sweet peppers and pasta are both delicious. Finish up with a dessert such as cherry clafoutis with yogurt ice cream, braised apple covered with caviar, or fine blinis! METRO: Porte Dauphine (line 2) or Porte Maillot (line 1 or RER C)

Nestled in a detached house located off the Champs-Elysées near place de la Concorde and surrounded by greenery, this dining room boasts delicious meals by chef Christian Le Squer. The credo here is refinement. Highly recommended as a starter is les coquillages, an herbed risotto dish topped with lobster, langoustines, scallops and grilled ham. Main dishes include turbot with truffled mashed potatoes, and sole sautéed in sage butter and topped with finely sliced cucumber and fresh ginger. METRO: Champs-Elysées – Clemenceau (line 1 or 13)

8ème ARRONDISSEMENT. Located near the Arc de Triomphe, this quaint, Art Deco styled restaurant calls out to a variety of epicureans. They relish chef Tateru Yoshino's excellent dishes, which include scallops with caramel sauce, cabbage-truffle terrine, and langoustines in a "cappuccino" of green lentils. As you might intuit, Yoshino blends French cuisine with Japanese influences. METRO: Charles de Gaulle-Etoile (lines 1, 2, 6 or RER A)
