3. Cisero's

This sophisticated Mediterranean restaurant has been plying guests with delicious Italian fare since 1985. The circa-1906 building boasts an oak wainscot, etched glass panels, and stained glass accents. Colorwashed walls in terra cotta and sunshine yellow brighten the space, which is particularly open and airy in the back section. The cuisine runs the gamut of Italian specialties, including calamari, minestrone, a variety of pizzas, and pastas flavored with luscious sauces, fresh seafood, and fragrant herbs. You'll also find a signature cioppino (seafood stew), grilled salmon, steak, and chicken Marsala. Service is attentive, and the ambience is upbeat and gregarious.
