9. St. Michael's Cemetery

"Quaint" and "cemetery" do not usually occupy the same sentence, but this is one of those instances where it seems appropriate! Due to the water table, many final resting places dating back to the 1800s had to be built above ground, and burial choices here include brick box tombs, Ovan style tombs, slab tombs and underground vaults. You can even find a replica of Napolean's tomb here. An interesting way to spend a bit of time learning more about Pensacola's past inhabitants.   (© 10Best)
