7. Tresslick Garden

About a thirty-minute drive from Penzance, the Tresslick Garden is an orchestra of well-kept magnolias, camellias, and rhododendrons. The 25-acre garden is housed on 500 acres of grounds now owned and operated by the National Trust. Grounds include a Cornish Apple Orchard and offer guests a nice view of the Falmouth Harbour. After enjoying the gardens, you might want to stop by the Tresslick Gallery, a collection of works by Cornish artists and craftspeople. A restaurant, plant center, and gift shop round out the offerings at this lovely estate. Because of its proximity to Glendurgan, you might want to make a day of visiting both gardens.   (© 10Best)
