2. Geevor Tin Mine

Want to find out what the area's industrial and mining past was like? The Geevor Tin Mine (fully operational until 1990) and Museum does a good job of giving guests a glimpse into how miners worked and how mines operated. Tour the mining museum and watch an educational film, explore the surface operations of the once booming plant, and visit a defunct underground mine. The museum houses a gift and souvenir shop, as well as a café that offers splendid views of the surrounding countryside.   (© 10Best)
