Golowan is the ancient Cornish festival of Midsummer, celebrated on the feast of St John the Baptist. Revived in Penzance in the early 1990's it is now a major community arts event.

The Newlyn Fish Festival celebrates the Cornish Fish Industry on Bank Holiday Monday 25th August, amongst the wonderful surroundings of Cornwall's largest fishing port.
