Completed in 1868 by Moses Pettengill – a merchant who relocated to Peoria from New England – this Second Empire-style Victorian home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has been maintained by the Peoria Historical Society since the late 1960s. The home has been carefully preserved over the years, and its 11 rooms still boast period antiques, including priceless collections of china, silver, and crystal.
