7. Bistro St. Tropez

I heard from friends that Bistro St Tropez was romantic and the food was good. What an understatement....it was great.... probably the best food I had in Phila.Actually I was in France last week and the flavor and presentation were far better than the experiences I had. We were sat at a table by the window , order a bottle of rose looking at the sun set. The service was attentive and friendly, they gave us enough space and knew when to approach the table. The wine list was small but interesting at reasonable price. We actually found out that you also can bring your own wine and they will charge no corkage fee.

Always has and always will be the place to go for the best southern french cuisine. The expertly prepared food is enhanced by a fine and intelligently selected wine list, the casually chic ambiance and the most spectacular view of the Schuylkill River winding past the Art Museum, 30th Street Station (Philly's best architecture). A+++

What a French Bistro SHOULD be. All aspects of this restaurant are superior, including the value.
