CENTER CITY.   The Rittenhouse may be home to some of Center City's most elegantly-appointed rooms, but interview a local and you'll quickly discover that the hotel is also held in high esteem because of its celebrated restaurant. Lacroix has collected honor after honor since opening in 2003, and it's easy to see why. The candle-lit dining room is spacious and contemporary – perfect for a romantic outing. Multi-course dinners, meanwhile, beguiles palates with the likes of lobster and fois gras pastilla, roasted NY squab and butter-roasted wild boar. For a more intimate Sunday brunch or dinner (Monday-Thursday only) experience, try to reserve a seat at the Chef's Table in the kitchen.   (© 10Best)

There are very few bad things I could say about Lacroix. The food was AMAZING, I have been there for dinner and the brunch as well. Both of which had some of the most delicious food I have ever eaten. The wine selection is also amazing. The service was the best I have ever had at a fine dinning restaurant. I have had the pleasure of being served by Tory for dinner and Nem for brunch. Tory obviously knows every aspect of his job and the menu and was so friendly and nice. The wine pairings by the French sommelier were sub par to say the least. He was very rude when I added in my brief knowledge of wine. He made me feel stupid and embarrassed me in front of my date. This would be the only negative comment I have about this restaurant. I would strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good time and superb food. Thank you Chef Levin you have introduced me to my new favorite restaurant.
