BLUE BELL.   Genteel, polite and understated, this restaurant serves traditional, well-prepared Italian fare. Antipasti include carpaccio, calamari stuffed with shrimp, as well as a house special meat, cheese and vegetable platter. An array of pasta and risotto dishes may be served as a second or main course. Otherwise, look to duck with prosciutto and fontina, and veal chop with burnt onions and wild mushrooms.
