This suburban restaurant serves up a menu of delightful foods. Select from the full menu of regional entrees perfect for any taste or appetite. Locals say the short drive from the city is well worth it. Lovely ambience and excellent service abound.

My wife and I were in recently and we encountered a very surly waitress there. In addition, we found the responses from the service personnel less than accomodating. There seems to be no manager in charge and generally without the older setting, you might think you were in a local tavern. We notice they were not busy on a weekend night, which might because of what is poor quality service.

We ate at the Carversville Inn on Valentine's Day and were sorely disappointed. Our reservation was for 8:00 p.m. and we were not seated until 9:00 p.m. and we didn't get our first course until 9:30 p.m. We waited in the bar which was so crowded that the servers could hardly move because we were in their way. When we ordered dinner, it was so late that some of the selections on the menu were no longer available, which was very frustrating. For $75 a person, the meal was overpriced and underwelming. I don't see myself going back again.

Keep going back every other month and I'm never disappointed with the quality of the food. Only one occasion, where they were short-staffed for the evening, was the service a little spotty. Reservations are a MUST on the weekend. Be sure to go early and have a drink or two at the bar.
