OLD CITY.
You know right away that this will be special, from the Zen-like entrance with its wall of flowing waters. Duck and shiitake postickers, lobster fried rice, sesame crusted tuna, make for a memorable meal. After your meal, try the chocolate Bento box for two, a sampler of five unique little desserts. The bar gets packed and stays packed, but don't let the noise deter your mission to enjoy a wonderful meal. Make sure to rub the Buddha statue on your way out. Advance reservations are recommended, especially for weekends.

We had an awsome dinner!! The total wait staff was exceptional. Our dinner of Blue Marlin and the Wasabi Filet was incredible. The atmosphere and decor was upbeat, dark and romantic. It was a very fine and fun dining experience.

This was the best Asian food we have ever had. The people who work there are friendly, helpful and the service if fast. We noticed that they did not rush to get customers to leave if they had finished their meal and were visiting. Top notch!

upon arrival, we were immediately taken by the ambiance.(I forgot we were in Philly).the atmosphere is truly breathtaking. I highly recommend the calamari salad to start. The main course was excellent! My companion had the shrimp; it was incredible. I made a very wise choice with the swordfish it was cooked to perfection. The portions were so generous we left with 2 shopping bags. buddakan will definitely see me again and again.
