If you are going to charge these rediculously high prices then you had better deliver. This restaurant surely did not. Four of us ate here on November 10, a Saturday night. In brief, the food was overcooked but served lukewarm. Some dishes had to be returned. The sauces had a "skin" on them. The "Seafood Stew" had one overcooked shrimp and two tasteless scallops. The salad was pedestrian. The duck breast was not even luke warm. When it reserved so that it could be eaten, it was so salty as to be unedible. The sauce did not compliment the duck, it drowned it. The lobster did did not taste fresh. Only the venison was worthy of praise. Even the bread was just average. This place is outrageously priced for mediocre food. The only good part was the service, except for the wine steward. After we expressed our displeasure with a wine he strongly suggested, he quickly backed off of his offer to bring us a different wine, telling us to try it with our food. But he never came back to ask us if we liked it better with our food. We did not see him again until after we finished our entrees. When we told him that the wine did not taste better with our food, he only sheepishly muttered an apology and quickly left. Adding to the poor experience was the "thump, thump, thump" reverberating from the combo playing in the bar. Don't waste your money.I'd rather spend it on the emperor's new clothes.
