 EDITOR REVIEW: CHINATOWN. Vietnam remains a warm, family-run operation at heart even though the humble confines that served as its original (1984) location were traded for more stylish, bistro-inspired digs. And while the dark-stained woods and shuttered windows are nice upgrades, it's still all about the food. From the BBQ platter to the Vietnamese carpaccio, nobody'll fault you for filling up on appetizers. Doing so, though, risks having room to sample a vermicelli dish or a claypot filled with pork, fish or shrimp. Fortunately, you can always come back if you feel you missed out.
