6. Mystery Castle

PHOENIX.   The Mystery Castle was built by Boyce Luther Gulley in the early 20th century. Gulley, originally a Seattle resident, was diagnosed with tuberculosis and built a home in a much drier climate in hopes that it would mitigate his condition. After Gulley’s death, his daughter moved into the house, and she still lives there today. Enjoy a tour of this beautiful Phoenix castle while you are visiting the city.   (© 10Best)
