PHOENIX.   The building that houses this great Phoenix museum once served as the state capitol building. The Arizona Capitol Museum is a historical time capsule that contains documents and artifacts that pertain to the great history and heritage of Arizona. One of the more famous exhibits documents the story of the USS Arizona, the naval battleship that was sunk during the battle at Pearl Harbor. This Arizona history museum is one of the best family attractions around.   (© 10Best)

Best kept secret in Arizona
Listen, we all heard about the economy and no money to do anything fun. The Arizona Capitol Museum is free, no cost to park, and the building is gorgeous... children from 3rd grade up will absolutely enjoy it. I heard they are looking for volunteers so call them @ 602-926-3620, by the way they are no longer open Saturdays. But, they are still open Mon-Fri, from 9-4pm, check it out....
