Although Phoenix isn't known for having a particularly lively nightlife scene, there are lots of places to play after dark. If you want to watch a game, check out a sports bar like Majerle's (owned by NBA All-Star Dan Majerle). Live music is on tap at several establishments, such as Rhythm Room and Char's Has the Blues. Following international trends, the city has also seen the opening of several swanky cocktail lounges – check out Amsterdam, Merc Bar and Wright Bar for sophisticated fun with martinis.
