CENTRAL PHOENIX.
Chris Bianco's celebrated pizza evokes memories of Naples. A wood-fired brick oven and a passion for quality make Bianco's traditional Neapolitan pizza crust a work of art. Each and every one of the masterpieces served is made from scratch with the finest ingredients. The only drawback? You may have to wait for a great pizza, because the place is no secret. Reservations accepted only for parties of six or more.

Pizzeria Bianco offers exquisitely simple pizzas and salads. Ever since chef-owner Chris Bianco won a 2003 James Beard Foundation Award, waits for seating in his intimate restaurant can be long. (from Sunset)

This is hands down one of my very favorite restaurants in Phoenix. The food is incredible – wood fired pizzas, fresh salads, handmade mozzarella. Great wine list. The only downside is the long wait – reservations are not accepted – but you can hang out at the restaurant-owned wine bar next door and enjoy the evening experience.

Well worth the two-hour wait. Spend some time in the wine bar next door to kill the time. Order the market salad and spedine for appetizers and any one of the pizzas are awesome. If you are looking for Chicago style deep dish you are in the wrong place. This is how pizza was meant to be made.

We waited 2 hours for a table. The server came to take our order and did not write anything down. When our order came, it was completely wrong but by that time we has waited 3 hours for food and we were too hungry to care. All flash no substance.
