Pittsburgh is a sports town. Always has been. In fact, one makes a valid point by arguing that the Steel City has but three seasons: football, hockey and baseball. Yes, depending on the time of year, the Penguins, Pirates or Steelers dominate break room chatter. That's not all that's going on, though. In winter, for example, there's the cultural spectacle that is First Night, complete with music of all types and great fireworks. The spring and summer, meanwhile, are marked by celebrations like Doo Dah Days, Pittsburgh Blues Festival and the Vintage Grand Prix.
