STRIP DISTRICT.   Diners nestle into semicircular booths in this restaurant's quirky dining room. A frequently changing menu draws on seasonal ingredients and features a raw bar. Intriguing mains might include seared tuna with bok choy, shiitake mushroom, shrimp dumplings and curry broth. More traditional offerings such as prime rib with fontina cheese bread pudding are prepared and served with a creative, modern flair. The tavern menu offers salads, sandwiches and other casual fare.   (© 10Best)

My first and only dining experience at Eleven was excellent. The new owners kept the same basic design, but made it much more elegant and comfortable. I had the best osso buco ever. It was moist, tender and the grilled onions and vegetables cooked in reduction were superb.

The service + wine list were great. The entrees, however, left much to be desired. I sampled a few at the table and found them to be rather tasteless--mine was bizarre. I had the bbq shrimp and the vegetables tasted like they'd been soaked in pool water. Seriously, I'm not that picky but my dinner was definitely gross. Worth reviewing just to make sure potential diners don't order the same!
