SHADYSIDE.
Pamela's pancakes are world-famous. Well, maybe not world-famous, but locals swear by them. Other items on the menu at this sought-after joint are California French toast and homemade corned beef hash. Sunday breakfast is the most popular meal.

A must try
Anyone that does not like Pamela's has no idea how big city casual dining works. A great place with great food and service. Portions so big we did not have to eat the rest of the day!!! Big line moves fast, don't be scared away.

FoodForThought
The only atmosphere is what you breath in this establishment. Tacky signs noting "No Public Restroom!!" and "CASH ONLY!".
I've eaten in some excellent restaurants and some small diners that were super good. Pamela's is somewhere in the middle. Their so-called famous hotcakes are, what I call crepes, and average, at best.
Service was as mediocre as the food!
