[Closed for restoration until Spring 2010.] Built in the mid 1700s, this home is located along the city's North Street. Throughout the years, this small home was filled with generations of Spooners. Visitors to this two-story house are greeted with original furnishings, china, paintings and artifacts that reveal what home life was like for this family. In 1954, James Spooner willed the home and all its contents to be a museum for the enjoyment of the general public. A small garden is also part of the house tour during warmer months.
