2. Capt. John Boats' Whale Watching Tours

My boyfriend and I went on Capt. John's Whale Watching Tour and had an excellent experience. It takes slightly over an hour to get out to the bay where the whales are most commonly sighted, but the scenery is beautiful and there's also a lot of great information about Plymouth Harbor and surrounding areas as they are passed on the way out. There is a "naturalist" on the boat so they narrate the tour. On our tour we saw 7 spectacular whales, 3 of which came so close to the boat we could smell them! There were 4-6 ft. swells the day we went, so many people were very queasy, but free dramamine was offered. I strongly recommend this whale watch, it was fantastic!
