A local icon, Woods Seafood doesn't look like much, with all the plastic tables and chairs and a simple counter for placing orders, but once you delve into your plate of food, you'll know why the locals bring their out-of-town guests here. Fresh seafood and live lobsters for take-out are the inventory that keeps regulars hooked. Enjoy fried clams, crab cakes, fish and chips and seafood platters. This restaurant will not give you drinking water to have with your meal. Rather, they only sell bottled water, forcing the customer to pay an additional few bucks for a service that is customarily provided by other establishments as a courtesy to its customers. I don't know if Woods' policy is in compliance with local health codes, but nevertheless, forcing the dining public to purchase water is very customer unfriendly!
